With how fast and how far information can spread thanks to the internet, we have to be careful about what we say and how it can be linked back to us.  Once you post something on the internet, even if you delete it, it remains on the internet forever in some way.  These days, that is common knowledge.  Even if your text does not reach a lot of people, you don't have any idea how your text is going to spread once you post it on the internet.  Since we all know that once you post on the internet it is going to stay there, it heavily influences how we write.  One big example of this is any companies twitter account.  Certain companies are going to have a lot of followers on twitter so once they tweet something, a lot of people are going to see it as soon as it happens. They make one mistake and it becomes a news story and it tarnishes their brand which of course takes a toll on their profits.  The circulation of information that happens on the internet is so quick and spreads so fast, companies need to think about what they are going to tweet because the internet has a sort of stickiness to it.  They need to make tweets that not only uplifts their product, but is also not damaging to their image.  To put it simply, tweeting and handling all posts that go on the internet for a company is actually a full time job.  They hire people who knows how information is going to spread, knows how to make people stick around to see more tweets and posts from the company, and how to make their brand look good.  The fact that there is now a job in many companies to handle social media, it outright proves that circulation influences the composing process.  If circulation had no effect on text, then companies would not hire people to make tweets or Facebook posts because it would not matter.  Circulation is so fast and quick on the internet, companies need to hire these people so they don't look bad.  And that can go with anything really.  If you are not careful with your personal information, it can spread all over the internet and there is nothing you can really do about that.  If you are not careful, circulation can overwhelm you and a post that you made for yourself can become national news the next day.
